Dr. Jacob A. Petrosky is a practicing general surgeon and bariatric surgeon in the Salt Lake City area. He is now affiliated with Restoration Health Medical Group, an independent medical and surgical practice in the Salt Lake City area.

Dr. Petrosky specializes in minimally invasive and other innovative treatments for obesity related-conditions as well as esophageal diseases, advanced endoscopic treatment of esophageal and gastric diseases, and treats unique conditions such as Zenker’s diverticulum using minimally invasive approaches. He also specializes in complex hernia repairs, including recurrences and abdominal wall reconstruction.

Dr. Petrosky received his medical degree from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine in 2012 and completed his General Surgery Residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in 2017, and his Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatrics at Geisinger Medical Center in 2018.

Dr. Petrosky is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Utah and is board-eligible by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Petrosky’s professional memberships include the American College of Surgeons, The American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, The Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, The Society of Surgeons of the Alimentary Tract, and The American Medical Association.
